Most believers in Darwin's theory are evolutionists by default, not by conviction. From preschool through grad-school, we are all indoctrinated with a long list of evolutionary CLAIMS to such an extent that scholars and lay people alike often feel the evidence for evolution is overwhelming.

Darwinisdead.com submits that evolutionary claims contain unsupported assumptions.  It is not EVIDENCE that overwhelms, but the crafted IMPRESSION OF EVIDENCE that overwhelms so many into believing  all life evolved from a common ancestor --  a microscopic chemical accident billions of years ago!

DARWINISDEAD.COM believes students should have access to both sides of the creation/evolution controversy and should draw their own conclusions based on evidence, not on state-mandated dogma.

To this end we offer our services as a clearinghouse of information generally excluded from  textbooks, Public Broadcast Services, and public school classroom lectures. 

Darwinisdead.com encourages students to do diligence. Question dogmatic statements, and check references. Pursue original sources wherever possible, not just intermediate references that quote them. Make use of public and university libraries. Find out about interlibrary loan systems your local library may belong to for borrowing resources that are not locally available. 

Sometimes, it may be preferable to purchase a resource rather than borrow it.
